Our Vision

God has given us the vision of building the first Iranian-Christian Church in Los Angeles. As you know, in Los Angeles – and around the country – a lot of mosques are being built, but the biggest Persian community outside of Iran – in Los Angeles – has no church of its own. We are actively working to purchase a piece of land on this earth that belongs to God and dedicate it to Him.

This is a big vision that God has given us, which we embrace with humility and joy. This vision is in line with Vanguard Peacemakers' goals, which include having a campus with a church and – if possible, – a banquette hall and dorms that will enable us to serve the community better.

Activities that will be performed in this campus include, but are not limited to:

• Helping refugees from Iran and the Middle East who have come here to escape persecution for their beliefs and political views.
• Arranging support for under-served communities such as substance abusers and troubled families.
• Supporting families with language and cultural barriers and helping them to embrace the American culture and be productive members of the society.
• Provide activities for teenagers and youngsters that help them to live their life in a healthy way.
• Arranging bible studies, including advanced bible studies for dedicated people who want to be disciples.
• Arrange gatherings to praise and worship the Lord and invite the community to join our celebration of God.
• Move the activities (meetings, bible studies, prayer night, couples' night, church choir training, etc.) that we currently hold in the homes of our members to our facilities.

We have initiated fund-raising activities to gather the funds necessary to accomplish our goals. Most of all, we need your prayers to achieve our goals since it can only be done through God's will. If God talks to your heart, we hope you can support us financially.
